A proposed Settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit. If you are or were employed at Wallace Community College – Selma (“WCCS”) and were subject of a data breach in or around February 2018 (the “Data Breach”), you are a “Class Member.” If you received a notice from the Claims Administrator about this class action settlement addressed to you, the Claims Administrator has already determined that you may be a Class Member.
If you are a Class Member, you may make a claim for monetary compensation and two (2) years of Credit Monitoring Service at no cost to you by filling out a Claim Form.
- Monetary compensation is described in detail in the Notice of Proposed Class Action Settlement available on the Important Documents Page or by Clicking Here. If you believe you had a fraudulent tax return filed in your name or incurred unreimbursed out-of-pocket expenses related to the Data Breach, then you may make a claim for cash payment. Monetary compensation claims require verification and documentation.
- Credit Monitoring Services are designed to help protect you from possible unlawful use of your personal information that was potentially compromised as a result of the Data Breach described in the Class Notice. Credit Monitoring Services will provide you with alerts if someone is unlawfully using your personal information, and other valuable identity protection services.
